During National Novel Writing
Month I like to update my word count on the official website throughout daily
writing time. Yesterday I entered the wrong number and didn’t notice until
later, when I found this:
Do you think I could write
fifty thousand words between November 18 and the thirtieth?

I don’t think so. But believe
me, some folks I’ve met could.
